Activities:

1. _______  In alphabetical order write the words in syllables, the respelling, the part of speech, and a definition for each word.
2. _______ Write a letter of homage to your parent/parents or any other significant adult in your life.  The letter must be at least three paragraphs, with no less than three sentences per paragraph.
3. _______  Use five of the list words and write an alliteration phrase or sentence for each.  The alliteration should not be less than five words. 
4. _______  Write each word four times.
5. _______   CHALLENGE!  Write a short story with a beginning, middle, and end. Within the story, use the four vocabulary words that you did not use in your alliteration sentences.

a. Unit due and test on Friday, 1/18/13.

b. Activities 2 & 3 may be typed.

c. Cite the dictionary used and the page number where the word is found.

d. You must know the spelling, definitions, and how to use the words in a sentence properly.
